Having dedicated 15+ years of her life in the futile attempt to make me a better writer, Skittles has decided she’s had enough. She is retiring her position as Editor Cat to spend her remaining time lying in the sunshine, chasing fake fur mice, begging for food, and cleaning herself.
Although I’m sad to see her leave her position, I can certainly understand. Frankly, I’m surprised she put up with be this long. I wish her the best of luck with retirement, and I fully expect she will continue to sit on my lap at night.
