Hi there all and welcome to my new website and blog. I hope you come back to visit often and I promise I’ll try to update it as often as I possibly can.
So what am I going to say in these illustrious pages? Well, pretty much anything that comes to mind and I feel strongly enough to write about. A lot of it will probably be movie and TV show reviews, since that’s the business I’m in and also the pop culture I most consume. I will do an occasional book review, although I don’t get to read as much as I used to. That’s something I hope to correct in the coming year, to make more time to read. I’ll also do board game reviews, since I’m an avid board gamer. At some point I may even put a whole separate category on the website devoted strictly to board games, but that’s a while down the road.
I may sometimes make a political post, but these won’t be often. I have definite political opinions, but I’ve begun to discover that, especially given today’s divided climate, that way can lead to madness, hurt feelings, and useless arguments. Not that I’m scared of any of that, I’d just rather put my time toward more constructive endeavors. However, there may come something that I feel strongly about and will post it.
I’ll probably often post pictures of animals and may even relate stories about them. I’m a huge cat lover, so expect to hear a lot about cats. Speaking of, Editor Cat or Assistant Editor may occasionally offer writing advice, if they hear something good they think is worth passing on or if they think of something they feel is worthwhile.
That pretty much covers it, I think. Every now and then, something not mentioned may pop up, so we’ll just have to see what the future brings. I hope you’ll come along with me. Feel free to let me know your thoughts in the comments of any post, but be aware that I will monitor them and act accordingly. Disagreement is fine, I don’t want to live in an echo chamber. Rudeness, however, won’t be tolerated.
